This website is operated by Reflections — Pastel, Portraits & Paintings, the studio practice of Robert Atkins, based in Augusta, Georgia. Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to that studio. "You" refers to anyone visiting this site or contacting us through it.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a commission request, a purchase inquiry, or a message about lessons, camp, or events, you may provide:

• Your name
• Your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number
• The title of the artwork you're asking about
• Anything you write in the message field — including details about a commission, a photograph you'd like painted, or a program you'd like to join

Please send only what's needed for us to help you. Don't include payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information in a form or email.

Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server information when a page is requested — such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising trackers or sell visitor data.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry about a painting, commission, lesson, camp session, or event
• To arrange, price, and deliver commissioned work or program enrollment
• To keep records of correspondence related to a sale or commission
• To maintain the security and reliability of the site

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your asking.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work, and only to the extent they need it:

• Netlify — hosts this website and processes form submissions, delivering them to us by email.
• Cloudinary — hosts and delivers the artwork images you see on this site.
• Email and scheduling providers — used to correspond with you and, where applicable, to book a call.

These providers handle information under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our host and form provider may set essential cookies needed for security and spam prevention. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent forms from submitting.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and commission correspondence for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep reasonable business records. If you'd like your information deleted, ask us and we'll remove it, except where we're required to keep it.

• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your information
• Stop contacting you

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information here. Enrollment in the Summer Art Camp is arranged directly with a parent or guardian, and any information about a minor is provided by that adult. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we'll delete it.

Artwork, images, and copyright

All artwork, photographs of artwork, and written descriptions on this site are the property of Robert Atkins and are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, reproduced, printed, or used commercially without written permission. Commissioned portraits are created from reference photographs supplied by the client; by sending a reference photograph you confirm you have the right to share it with us for that purpose.

Links to other sites

This site links to outside pages such as Facebook and scheduling tools. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — read their policies before sharing information there.

If this policy changes, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the "last updated" date above.
