"To go further is to reach back." Robert teaches the way he was taught — one student at a time, hands in the pastel, learning to see before learning to draw. Below: private instruction, the summer camp for young artists, and where to find him next.
Sessions are built around the student, not a syllabus. Beginners start with seeing — value, edge, and light — before a single line goes down. Experienced students bring their own work and Robert teaches into it.
A hands-on summer program built on a simple belief: every child is carrying a gift, and somebody has to hand them the materials. Campers work across mediums and finish the session with a piece of their own worth framing.

This form is for teaching and appearances — private lessons, camp enrollment, and questions about a date on the calendar. It comes straight to Robert, separate from commission requests.
Tell us who the lessons are for and roughly where they're starting from. There's no wrong answer; Robert has taught people who had never held a pastel and people who'd been painting for twenty years.
That has its own form with sizing and budget questions — head to the commission page.
Lessons, camp enrollment, and event details all start with the same short note — the form just above. Tell Robert what you're after and he'll take it from there.
